About Us
Nazina NGO, in partnership with Eka Foundation, was formally established as a non-profit NGO in 2019 but has been involved with various projects in Uganda since 2013.
Working with local and rural communities in Kyenjojo and Fort Portal in Western Uganda we look to partner with broken families in these locations and help them to reach their best achievable state of life, both in spiritual and physical aspects. We work with these families on a wide range of projects wherever it is needed, including:
-
Water is Life – providing clean water and sanitation solutions;
-
Education and creativity for sustainable solutions;
-
Creative Arts Education;
-
My Family Project;
-
Vulnerable Women Project;
-
Breakfast Project;
-
Farm Project;
-
Nazina School of Creativity Project;
-
Women and Children Outreaches
-
Through Eka Foundation, focusing on restoring broken families and creating safe homes for vulnerable children.
In addition to all of the above we also respond to any critical needs of the people living in Kyenjojo and Fort Portal; for example, since the onset of the Covid 19 global pandemic we have responded by setting up the Hunger Epidemic Project specifically to bring emergency and crisis relief to malnourished families in desperate need and on the brink of starvation. Uganda as a country has suffered immeasurably since March 2020 and Nazina NGO has to date helped to feed over 2,500 people but we urgently need your support to continue to provide this most basic need to the many families who continue to suffer.
Nazina NGO relies entirely on the generosity of supporters in the form of donations and sponsorships with no direct Government funding. If you would like to help us improve the life of the families we work with through any of our projects we will be delighted to receive your donation, however big or small.
